Chrissie Brewer, N.P.

Chrissie Brewer is a Board-Certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Linden Health Family Psychiatry. She is licensed to serve patients in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Her approach respects the client as a whole and takes into consideration their familial, psychosocial, interpersonal, and medical background when formulating evidence-based treatment recommendations. Ms. Brewer may recommend psychotropic medication for your child or adolescent, but she also places a high degree of emphasis on other domains of wellbeing including nutrition, exercise, sleep, interpersonal and familial relationships, and psychotherapy. Ms. Brewer takes time getting to know patients well to ensure optimal clinical assessment; initial evaluations are 90-minutes and follow-up sessions are either 30- or 45-minutes in length, allowing Ms. Brewer to hear her clients, fully understand their complaints, and tailor treatments to their specific needs.

Ms. Brewer has spent her career honing her skills in the assessment and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder spectrum (OCD), health anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), specific phobias, feeding/eating disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders. She also works closely with therapists, schools, tutors, coaches, and other supporting people in client’s lives to ensure coordination of care and the highest standard of treatment possible.
